*MANAGING TODAY'S CHALLENGES TODAY*

"Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." ~ Matthew6:11-12

When couples get married, they envision a forever after full of bliss. Doesn't everyone look forward and desire to live such a life? But no-sooner than you settle in marriage than the challenges seem to crop up almost immediately. To some, even before the honeymoon is over, they leave their honeymoon experience with some issues & fights and they are left to wonder, is this the life we have gotten ourselves to?

Jesus while teaching his disciples when they get into prayer as seen in the scripture quoted above that they should ask the Father for today's bread. Give us this day our daily bread! He didn't ask them to pray for a week's bread, a months provision nor a year full of abundance. No, he simply exhorted them to ask the Father of today's bread. Praying for a week's provision or a months provision or even an year is not wrong in itself, there is a place for that, but God desires that we manage what we can today.

There are a myriad of lessons we can draw from this text as a people that want and desire to live and have success & thrive as couples and even in our relationships.

If we just purpose to make today good, then we shall have joy and have happy endings to our days daily! When you make every  day good and best today, tomorrow will be good, the week as a result of what you do good each day will eventually culminate in a good week. Gradually, the months and because of our intentionality each day the year and years will be good and full of joy and happiness.

It's important to note that, no marriage breaks in a day. Cracks begin to widen slowly when people do not seek to intentionally mend them each day.

We need to walk and live in our relationships and marriages with intentionality.

JUST MAKE TODAY GOOD!

If a day comes and there is a challenge you fear that it comes your way,ask God to  give you grace & the wisdom that you require at that particular moment to address and manage it. God renews His Mercy& grace each day because His mercies are renewed each day, every morning.

Just as the children of Israel in the desert didn't use yesterday's manna, we need to collect through prayer and devotion our daily bread. We cannot live as believers on yesterday's manna, as it were with manna collected, it used to rot if it crosses over to the following day. Issues unresolved in marriage build up and they begin emitting some bad odour in our relationships and marriages.

Guard your day today through forgiving if someone trespasses against you. Hold that dialogue today if you're not in good terms. Do not procastinate the good that you ought to do today. There is sufficient grace, knowledge and wisdom today if we set our hearts to know whatGod has in His heart concerning not only our issues, but anything touching our lives.

To win big, me and you must win our small daily battles. Make your win today. You're not going to manage tomorrows challenges if you don't deal with the challenges of today.  Lets endeavour correct what we need to correct today, do not wait to mend it tomorrow. Today is the day to deal with what needs to be dealt with today.

A lifetime not chosen daily, will not last a lifetime. One day, the great day will be today. You make your decisions today in the light of tomorrow.

Be faithful today and do the right day today.

Many issues are bedeviling the society and communities we live in, they can be solved if each and everyone of us did the good we ought to do today. If we do so, our lives, relationships and marriages will be healed. There will be joy and happiness in our lives each day
