Let God love and protect you
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it – Proverbs 4:23
I prefer smaller gatherings to the bigger ones. I appreciate meeting people and to participate in the
large group gatherings, but there is often so much noise, you don’t know where to look or where to
focus. There’s too much impressions.
Our lives are often quite the same. We’re surrounded by
different kinds of musts, voices, guilts, challenges, happiness, sorrows, difficulties and pains.
A constant flow of things. What do we do then?
Jesus often withdrew from the crowd for times of solitude with his heavenly Father (Luke 5:16).
Maybe to let the Father’s voice become clear and to silence all the other noises for a while. To
calibrate himself to the compass. To let the Father care for and guide him. To let the Father be an
excellent father.
This year’s theme is “God’s love and protection for women”, which is a true fact. No matter where
you are, who you are and why you are reading this God cares for you.
God gives us love and protection and I believe that it begins when we give Him time to do so, like Jesus did.
In His presence He shapes our hearts, from where everything flows out (Prov 4:23).
Even if this is true for everyone, I want to highlight all the women a little extra this day. If you are a woman, seek God and give him the opportunity to encounter with you. And if you are a man like me, I want to encourage you to see and
encourage women around you to seek a relationship with God and to let him encounter them.
