God´s Promises

“The woman was made of a rib out of the side of Adam; not made out of his head to top him, nor out of his feet to be trampled on by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected,and near his heart to be loved by him."      Matthew Henry

A quote that is often heard, and it tells us that the whole design of male and female proves that God´s intention from the beginning was that women should be protected by men.

 That He created her in a way where abuse and oppression was unthinkable, shows us God´s great love and His concern for women to be safe in all circumstances,

So if you have experienced violence, know that it is against the will of God. And that His promise to protect and restore those of His that has been violated is a promise you can trust, just as His promises to punish those that has abused you are trustworthy.

For our God is a promise keeper

Romans 4:21 and being fully assured that what God had promised He was also able to perform.
